Collaborative Robotics
Collaborative robots represent a step-change in industrial robots, and are already in use in a number of processes in the UK, particularly within the aerospace industry.
With built-in sensors and vision systems, FANUC ‘cobots’ can be used for a variety of operations, such as thread-tapping or lifting struts and spars, while the human operator performs other tasks.
However, unlike other ‘cobots’, underneath the skin of the FANUC CR-series model is an industrial ‘production-ready’ robot
Three different collaborative robotic solutions will be exhibited, including the CR-15iA demo cell with floor scanners, and the CR-35iA – the only collaborative robot in the world with a 35kg payload.
